Hey there!
It’s Georen (pronounced “jer-in” because people are always wondering how it is pronounced lol). I’m the one behind the lens capturing all of your favorite moments. I am a 26 year old photographer based in Scottsdale, Arizona and love capturing just about anything that I can get in front of my lens including couples, weddings, families, and portraits! My style is very true-to-color tones as I am a photographer that is OBSESSED with natural light!
Trust me, I LOVE those super posed family photos but I spend most of my time with a camera in my hand because I LOVE catching those vulnerable, honest, and real pictures that can’t be posed. Getting to watch your babies grow. Meeting new faces. Watching you hold your belly in excitement. Seeing your best friend get down on one knee. Popping the champagne at your graduation. Chasing your love around the desert. Getting in the water. Dancing in the sunset. Capturing those in between moments. And those big moments. The ones that really show you who you are. And what matters to you. And the families you’ve built. And all that GOD has done in your life and blessed you with.
That is my WHY.

MY LOVE STORY

The story of James + Georen is a long, LONG story full of the Lord’s provision + timing but the short version is this: I met James at his family shoot that his mom organized. For James, it was love at first sight. For me, it was let me get to know you and MAYBE I will go on a date with you lol. James pursued me for almost a whole year before I finally said yes to a date with him. In that year we became best friends by hanging out with the same friend group, country swing dancing together, and being involved in the same church. We met December of 2020, started dating in October 2021, got engaged April of 2022 and then I married this beautiful hunk of a man in September of that same year. We have now been married for 2 years + have since adopted two golden retriever babies (Belle + Yeager). Still very happy + still very much in love.

MY FAVORITE THINGS!

I am pretty much ALWAYS shooting but when I am not third wheeling with a camera in my hand I am probably serving at church, hiking, journaling, or collecting vintage theology books.
